Because of the fact that we have different opinions of how to improve the breed of the White Swiss Shepherd in Spain we have left CEPBS immediately. Weil Wir eine ganz andere Meinung haben wie die Rasse des Weisser Schweizer Schäferhundes zu Verbesseren haben Wir CEPBS sofort verlassen. 12 de Mayo de 2008 Nos volvimos de un 1 fin de semana excelente en el sur de España y de Portugal. Como esperaba CONAN e IRA alcanzaron ambos, en ambos días un 1 Exc. CAC/CACIB, y CONAN se convirtió en 2 veces MEJOR DE RAZA. Sábado él terminó en los finales del grupo 1 en el 4to lugar, tan apenas al lado del podium. Ningún problema él es apenas 15 meses, así que él todavía está creciendo. Zara se convirtió en ambos días Mejor Cachorro de Raza.We came back from an A 1 Excellent weekend in the south of Spain and Portugal. As we hoped CONAN and IRA achieved both, on both days a 1 Exc. CAC/CACIB, and CONAN became 2 times BEST OF BREED. Saturday he ended in the finals from Group 1 on the 4th place,so just beside the podium. No problem he is just 15 months,so he is still growing.Give him one more year,and he will be more difficult to beat.Zara became on both days Best Of Breed Puppy |

Una fecha más decidiré si rediseño como socio totalmente del CEPBS. 17 de Marzo de 2008 Hemos tenido un fin de semana fantástico en Torrelavega con CONAN y IRA, pero la semana nueva ha comenzado con malas noticias. BAILA no es embarazada. Apesadumbrado al al la gente en la lista que espera. En 6 meses intentaremos otra vez. Fuimos hoy al veterinario con BAILA para un eco y DUÑA para el control después de su operación en sus codos. El veterinario nos dijo que DUÑA se esté recuperando mucho más rápidamente que él pensó. Tan aún un ciertas buenas noticias a terminar We have had a fantastic weekend in Torrelavega, but the new week has started with bad news. BAILA is NOT pregnant. Sorry to al the people on the waiting list. In 6 months we will try again. Today we went to the veterinary with BAILA for an echo and DUÑA for the control after her operation on her elbows. The veterinary told us that DUÑA is recovering much faster than he thought. So still some good news to end |

Ella volva el honorario de la compra para DUÑA como una compensación para las operaciones necesarias..A pesar de sus problemas físicos, DUÑA permanecerá para siempre con nosotros. Ella es uno de los mejores perros guardianes que tenemos, y ella será gran nanny para los perritos que esperanzadamente un día será llevado en nuestro criadero.The breeder of DUÑA has taken her responsibility. She has returned the purchase fee for DUÑA as compensation for the necesarry operations.Despite her physical problems, DUÑA will stay for ever with us. Sin embargo, no todos tienen superadas las pruebas oficiales ED (libre de displasia de codos) ya que allí aún no son obligatorias para criar. Por ello, los interesados en comprar un cachorro en este país deberían de preguntar siempre por los resultados oficiales de las pruebas ED (para los codos) y HD (para las caderas). Todos los criadores honestos y responsables han efectuado estas pruebas y no tendrán ningún problema en mostrarlas..Espero que esta advertencia les sea útil.We would like to put a special warning on the net for everybody, to know that there are breeders all over the world that are sincere. But not all breeders have their dogs officially tested on ED,simply because it is not obligated yet. BE AWARE !!! 15 y 22 de Enero de 2008 Recibimos hoy los valores muy decepcionantes para DUÑA sus codos y caderas. En 12 meses de la edad ella anotó un HD-C y ED-2. Esto es muy malo. .Today we received the very disappointing values for DUÑA her elbows and hips. On 12 months of age she scored an HD-C and ED-2. El otro día me reuní con la Facultad Veterinaria de Barcelona, con el departamento de genética. El ADn del perro está todo descodificado y se han emprendido estudios para buscar enfermedades de transmisión genética. En cataluña estan estudiando la leishmaniosis, en otro sitio estudian la displasia, en otro problemas de ojos, en otro carácter.... Así a medida que avancen todos se benefician de los descubrimientos hechos. Y todo esto para que nos sirve???????
pues bien, ellos podrían buscar en nuestros perros los descubrimientos que se vayan haciendo. Esto nos permitiría no eliminar perros de la cría, pero si hacer cruces dirigidos que luego nos permitiera renovar nuestro criador con animales cada vez más sanos a nivel genético. No podemos eliminar a los portadores a día de hoy ya que ello supondría en una raza tan joven problemas graves de consanguinidad, pero si con las siguientes generaciones ir seleccionando perros mas libres de problemas o simplemente libres de ser portadores de lo que se vaya descubriendo.
Que necesitan para ayudarnos???, pues que si todos queréis hacer con ellos el Adn que si somos muchos nos costaría unos 36 euros y empezarían un banco de Adn. Guardarían todas las muestras y a la que se descubra alguna cosa se pide un estudio de la línea que nos interese y podrán decirnos que hay.
Bueno he hecho un resumen rápido, a mi la idea me gusta pero necesito que más gente quiera participar ya que necesitamos muchas muestras de perros distintos para poder tener un gran banco de ADN y para poder estudiar lo que sea. Evidentemente los datos serán confidenciales.
